Enjoy a glass of Gold Label with a fresh carpaccio, a light salad with citrus fruits or a roast duck breast in a tempting raspberry and red wine sauce. The lively acidity of the champagne emphasizes the exquisite notes of these dishes. At the same time, it invigorates the palate and the spirit. The noble Gold Label owes its fruity, full character to the combination of 75 percent Pinot Noir, 20 percent Chardonnay and 5 percent Pinot Meunier. While Pinot Noir and Meunier provide a unique fruitiness, Chardonnay contributes to the elegance and finesse of the champagne. To ensure the same outstanding quality, complexity and depth year after year, the cuvée is refined with 15 percent reserve wine from good vintages. The Gold Label is allowed to mature for five years in our chalk cellars in Verzy and develop its full flavor.
